Many cultures have come together to make New Brunswick what it is, but we owe the Scots much for their stalwart nature and their culture. We’ll all be coming together to celebrate all things Scottish this weekend at the annual New Brunswick Highland Games Festival, occupying the grounds around the Government House on Woodstock Road on July 27 and 28.
Chris (President of the organizing committee) and Betsy (lead of an organizing sub-committee) joined me on Thursday to talk about what it takes to bring the Highland Games to life every year, how the games have changed over the years, and what their favourite event at the games is.
