In the golden age of radio drama, Orsen Welles captured the attention of the public with his production of the H.G. Wells classic, War of the Worlds. Black Box Productions staged a live theatre reproduction of the play at the Black Box Theatre, and then all the actors joined us in our studios. We recorded them and transformed it back into a radio play, with a bit of extra work.
Here it is, in it’s full glory!
(In case your thinking that this sounds a little different from the radio version, you’re right. The radio version had to be compressed to fit within the hour. This one is the full version, running just over an hour.)
