Fredericton man missing since Saturday
Police are currently looking for Fredericton man, Matt Sloan. He was last scene downtown at the Harvest Jazz and Blue Festival. There was no indication that he was going to leave the area. He is about five feet 10 inches and weighs about 190 pounds. Public are asked to contact Det. Rodney Wadden at 460-2300 if they have any information.
St. Thomas and UNB find lead in water
UNB and St. Thomas have both tested their water. Both universities found lead in varying amounts in the water fountains. They advise students that the water is still safe for washing and for cleaning.
Invest New Brunswick launched
The government of New Brunswick officially launched the Invest New Brunswick Act yesterday. It is supposed to increase the province’s gross domestic product by $293 million.
Group walks from Ontario to raise awareness
A group is currently walking through New Brunswick on a mission to raise awareness on the impact and lasting effects of residential schools. They recently were in Marimachi.
