NB Teachers association president Peter Legacy spoke to reporters Wednesday morning, laying out the concerns that need to be addressed by candidates running in the upcoming provincial election.
He began his address acknowledging the continued understaffing and shortages in the province’s school system and that those within the association are continuing to ring the alarm bells with the current government and the many retired teachers who have stepped back into the classroom to begin the school year, along with the 132 community members on local permit contracts.
Johnny James has the story on what the NBTA is looking for to address these needs.
