So this weekend’s Crazy Train was actually supposed to be an earlier episode that I missed because of illness. The episode was supposed to be a “preview” show which included bands that were playing the Panic Room in Saint John on Saturday November 19th.
And, just before the live show aired CHSR had their annual general meeting at which Neighbourhood Watch’s guitarist and co-founder Ciaron Lewis attended. If you didn’t know, Neighbourhood Watch is spearheading a food drive for the Fredericton and Saint John area food banks. So Ciaron came on the Crazy Train to help plug the hell outa the food drive. More info on that will be below.
Here’s the play list for Episode #99b (We were supposed to do the 100th episode of the Crazy Train but due to a scheduling conflict Andre and I have had to postpone the episode):
HOUR I: Crazy Train – Ozzy Osbourne| J’en Ai Asser – ADN| Ice Disease – Rifium| No Way Out – Go To White Castle| Spread Your Wings – The Wasteland Zombies| Herd Conformity – Elevate The Virus| Ice Box Queen – Neighbourhood Watch| Believers Always Stand – Feels Like Home| Keys – NEW Age Of Electric| Blood Letter – Jake Duffie
Hour II: Universal Death Squad – Epica| Sacrifice to Purify – Exalt| Ora pro Nobis Lucifer and Amen – Behemoth| Trust No One – Devildriver| The Bloodening – Johnny Truant| Hung – Napalm Death| Rise of the Fallen – Soulfly| Never Say Die (partial) – Black Sabbath

Today on RFYL, we keep things Canadian and share a bunch of wicked Canadian artists with all of you. I discredit the Christmas Music Industry which is Totally A Thing and inform all of you (as I’m doing here) that there will be no annoying Christmas music on this show. Ever. So tune in and enjoy music that won’t drive you insane.
Maybe it will drive you insane, but only the good way.
A lot of the bands featured today have music videos out, new releases, have been charting, are playing shows or just happen to exist throughout Canada. You should give them the attention they deserve and love. If I didn’t like them, I wouldn’t play them. Proof of point!
Any requests for next week’s show can be made to RunForYourLifeCHSR@gmail.com !

Activision & Infinity Ward are back with an all-new installment of the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Does this year’s installment come out victorious or, get sucked into a black hole?
Story: You play as Nick Reyes, a commander of the U.N.S.A after an attack was launched on earth from General Kotch (John Snow from Game of Thrones) and the SDF, Reyes and his partner Salt (Salter) fight their way through their city of Geneva getting to their ships and boarding the Retribution: which is now their home base for the remainder of the campaign. So your objective in this campaign is to defeat General Kotch and stop the SDF forever.
Gameplay: So this is your average first person shooter Call of Duty, with some new weapons and, gadgets and, dog fights this time which I love. New editions are more than welcomed this year with the side missions, these side missions are one of two things, infiltrating an enemy ship and planting charges to blow up the ship, or intense dogfights to bring down other larger aircraft carriers. The new weapons load out system is another really nice addition to this year’s call of duty, before each mission, you will go to the loadout dock and choose which guns you want to use during the current mission there will be recommendations but you can customize it any way you want to including the weapons on your ship before you roll out. While going through the course of this game and even playing the Multiplayer I couldn’t help but think that Call of Duty has become too much like Halo with the jet packs and the laser guns, I just wish they would go back to their roots of being a straight-up military shooter; when I play a call of duty game I do not want to be jumping around, floating and sliding all over the place.
Verdict: The writing in this game is fantastic, the characters are memorable, it’s high in action, new additions to the gameplay and fantastic story telling but when I play Call of Duty games I want a military shooter, not a space shooter.

In today’s episode, I feature a bunch of songs that recently got some new music videos! Also, Anyone’s Guess released a brand new song just today that you can get on apple media. Go pick it up – it’s solid!
We talk about a lot of bands going on tour, who they were with, and probably get a lot of information wrong. The tunes are good, I share my inspiration, and the reason for playing all the stuff I do every week.
If you have a song that would fit this show, by all means contact me at RunForYourLifeCHSR@gmail.com or RFYLMatt on Twitter!
