It’s an overwhelming bundle of interviews today! I popped down to talk to Old Man Leudecke before he did his sound check for The Maritime Kitchen Party show of The Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival, and ran into Tomato Tomato as well! As a bonus, Merrideth (the Stage Manager for the Hoodoo Stage) chatted with me about her experience as a long-term volunteer of the Festival.
And today, Nathalie Logan joined me to talk about the incredible success they’ve had so far raising money for the Shinerama campaign!
Oh, and there’s some events to talk about, and a song or two..

You may think you know the world, but what if that is the inversion?
What if the world you see is actually the mirror image, and the rest of existence is the dream?

All of reality is sometimes poised on the balance of a duality, a tug of water between two diametrically opposed forces, sometimes personified as twins, or lovers.
This is the tale of one such pair.

University can be hard to pay for, especially when you are going into something as specialized as music.
That’s why it’s great to hear of students being recognized for their hard work, and being rewarded. I called Phoebe Robertson to chat about her recent win of the Charlotte Glencross scholarship. We talked about what it’s like to go to school in a music program, her 8 years of work with the flute, and her future plans to make a career out of playing this beautiful instrument.
