RFYL Episode – CansinEP185

Posted on 2021-10-29 by Matt Nightingale Posted in Run For Your Life!

Oh, Hi there. I see you’ve decided to come by yet again for reasons unknown. Maybe it’s because of the way I interchanged the images from yesterday. Look at how HALLOWEENY we are here on the show.

It’s funny how much more thematic the show used to be, but now it’s just great and I do what I want, because before I definitely didn’t do what I want? I’m in a mood. Check out great music because if you don’t, the non-great musics win. You don’t want that.

Here’s a playlist go be spooky:

In My Head / In The First Place – Grand Electric
Misery Loves Company – Blood Red Shoes
Skin – Powder for Pigeons
Head-Toes – The JB Conspiracy
Tanner – Like A Motorcycle
Chimes – The Joy Formidable
Hands Up – Dead Sara [Official]
Dissension – The Wring
Antithesis – Cellar Twins
Aspire – Clæmus
Berserker – Gunship (feat. Dave Lombardo)
Forest of Hope – Husky by the Geek

We talked about the challenges and opportunities of shifting back to a (mostly) online festival after hoping to get back in person, the power of poetry to appear anywhere, and some of the other highlights from this year’s festival.
