This morning I talk Geocaching. There are over 2 million geocaches all over the world. There could be one right under your nose, and you wouldn’t even notice it unless you were looking for it. Find out more about this interesting and fun hobby as I speak with Gwen Boldon Leblanc of Fredericton Regional Geocachers and owner of Cachemporium, www.cachemporium.com.
A sample small geocache, containing a pencil, a logbook for finders to sign, batteries and toys (which finders may take, leaving in exchange items they bring), and a travel bug, which may be tracked online as it moves from cache to cache across the country or around the world.

Today I had long-time listener, first-time guest from the future Shane on my show to fill in the void Guest 1 left when he went to go on his magical voyage to the mystical land of Toronto, Canada. Actually, I don’t know where Guest 1 is.
Shane and I talk about random stuff while I struggle to get band names right, and pay homage and respect to bands to the songs they actually made. I didn’t screw anything up this time! Yay!
Bloody Diamonds have a great new album on the way. Go buy it. Lacuna Coil’s album “Delirium” is awesome, go buy that.
Go buy everything. Spend the moneys. Love the music.
Thanks for joining me, Shane!

I just arrived back from a lesson on Healthy Grocery Shopping.
SLS Health Coach, Mary Ellen Landry was very informative and showed me where I can find what I need (in those mysterious aisles that I normally pass by) and I am now much more prepared to begin my plant based/whole food journy. Armed with food knowledge, I’m excited to actually plan my week’s meals and make my grocery list accordingly. The best part of all of this is that I have less aisles to go through! We will be discussing grocery shopping this Thursday.
Tune in every Thursday morning at 7:30 on CHSR 97.9’s Rosie Morning as we discuss living healthy with SLS Health Coaches, Mary-Ellen and John Landry! If you have any questions in regards to groceries, send us a message on our facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/rosiemorning/, and we will have an answer for you on Thursday’s show.
On our first of twelve Health Transformation segments (every Thursday at 7:30am), we discuss Chronic Disease and how food factors in, Why Power (as opposed to Will Power) and much more.
If listeners have any questions for John and Mary-Ellen of SLS Health Coaching, please do not hesitate to send us a message on our facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/CHSR979) and we can make sure that they get answered on the air.
..And don’t forget to tune in, every Thursday at 7:30 for more healthy talk

John & Mary Ellen from SLS Health Coaching will be in this morning to talk about Chronic disease and food as well as Goal Setting using WHY Power, not willpower. Intrigued? So am I.
We don’t always appreciate that words are not created by the world.
They are created by humans. They are science, they are art, they are whimsy.
They are under our control.
So we can change them.
Dissect them.
Rearrange them as we see fit.
(Destroy them.)

Steve and I had the pleasure of speaking with Pam Paton and Liz Powers of Road Trip Boogie, who have just wrapped up a marathon tour that began last August! I also had the opportunity to see them perform at the Hollywood Star Room last night. You need to see them live! It was a fun, wonderful time and they put on a fantastic show! 🙂

The universe may be infinite, but from our point of view it can be seen a series of beginnings —
— and endings.
When the end of your beginnings come, it is a loss we carry to our own end.
While others celebrate their beginnings, we come to resent the celebrations, because our beginnings are endings now.

On this episode, I screw up song names, miss out on playing a few tracks I intended, and otherwise barely manage to hold on! But, flying solo, all the trends and segments get pushed aside as I try to stay entertaining. It worked! Probably. At least you still got a really good song of the week from Beneath the Grid, even if I managed to introduce it as A Brilliant Lie instead. Both bands are fantastic and you should give them a listen anyway.
A lot of great Canadian artists show up on this episode, and also, I brag about how many people were messaging me on Facebook because that’s the kind of person I am! Props to Shane – we’ll get you live on the show at some point soon! Maybe even next week!
