A project developed by a group of four St. Thomas University Social Work students (including Natalia Martinez, Emma Kilpatrick, Andrew Daniels and Taylor Newman) was called Hidden Faces of Poverty: Stories Untold. The primary focus of the project was the Household Income Policy. However, at the public event they hosted it was suggested by attendees that the current system should eventually be replaced by a more equitable manner of assisting people.
Art should be a lifelong pursuit for most people — even if it isn’t likely to become a livelihood. 
Sometimes it’s a matter of changing the scale to really see something for the art it is.
