Professor Kelly Miles has a keen fascination with the human body, both when it is alive and after it dies. Prof Miles’ focus is currently in forensic taphonomy- the study of human decomposition, and using stable isotopes to assess post-mortem interval (PMI). Originally from Nova Scotia, she has studied at St. FX, Dalhousie, and MUN, and is currently completing her PhD at UNB while teaching full-time in the Department of Biology.
