This is the “Wage Causing Rage” forum In The Know. Jason Lowage has been working at Canadian Tire in Squirrel Junction Newfoundland for awhile and is here to tell Canadians how frustrating it is to be living below the poverty line in Canada on minimum wage, and having to drink some nasty Gross Mourne screech because he cannot afford the “Good Stuff” at the local liquor store.
Franklin D. Roosevelt’s proposed second bill of rights from 1944 and a compelling CBC article featuring Canada’s NDP government is brought into this hilarious interview with one of Canada’s happiest but most frustrated Newfies “On Da Rock Der Boy!!!!!!!”
With a political satire commercial that is a perfect match for This Hour Has 22 Minutes or The Rick Mercer Report, and a parody song that will have much more than a “MINIMUM” effect on listeners working on minimum wage, you will be asking our government more questions about why one of the richest countries in the world has so many poor people surviving on “THE BARE MINIMUM” while a select few get to have OUR cake, and eat it too!!!!! Enjoy eh, this ones for you der boy!!!!!!!
